A Virginia Beach neighborhood located in the Centerville area of Virignia beach and belongs to the Glenwood Home Owners association. Honey Bee golf course snakes through the neighborhood. As a member neighborhood of Glenwood the residents have access to the Glenwood community pool and the 3 play grounds that are located within the aprox 40 acres which makes of the association.

Buying a home is more than simply buying a house. It is finding that perfect home that includes a special mix of attributes that found within the community. These amenities include parks, schools and shopping. There are many neighborhoods within a 5 mile radious of Stumpy lake and they can all easily and quickly access the park and take advantage of it.

Kempsville’s Alexandria neighborhood located in Virginia beach and bordering the city of Chesapeake is a highly sought after Virginia beach neighborhood. It is a Planned Urban Community commonly referred to as PUD, however it was developed prior to the cities regulation requiring a home owners association.
Alexandria neighborhood consists of approximately 955 1 and 2 story single family detached homes most with garages, the average size of the homes are 1894 sqr feet with 3 beds and 2 baths.
Cool features of Alexandria is the fact it is serviced by so many neighborhood parks that are owned and maintained by the City of Virginia beach. These parks include playgrounds and open grassy areas, many even have covered picnic areas.
Alexandria is serviced by Tallwood High school, which has the “Global Studies and World Languages Academy”. The middle school is Brandon Middle and the two elementary schools are Tallwood and Centerville.
Alexandria is also very centrally and provides easy access to many shopping centers, most notable is Greenbrier mall and the surrounding shopping areas that provide a number of dinning options. The city of Virginia beach currently connecting Lynnhaven parkway which will allow residents to more easily travel to Lynnhaven mall. The ocean front is only a 15 minute drive via the express way.
